Power of Education

Power of Education

Education is regarded as a very pivotal and vital aspect in the upliftment of society and individuals. We see many examples of countries that have progressed and moved up the ranks with the persistent efforts that they made to improve quality education. This in turn has propelled the nation to reach astounding heights. Quality Education is an impeccable resource that encapsulates the various bifurcations of human life ranging from Children’s Upbringing, education of the essential ingredients that add mass to it, education that enables the human in student mode to indulge the key traits like empathy, humility, and compassion. The significance of good company that helps us thrive in our profession is also necessary in any person’s artillery which can never be undermined.

We have seen countless examples of nations that have grown from the stature of third-world countries to developed ones.

A major chunk of government expenditure is also allocated to the Education sector in the case of developed countries which showcases the importance and the strength that is laid by the people leading the country. A fine example of the same can be given in South Korea which was in completely dismal shape 5 decades ago. To add to its misery, it was deprived of natural resources and the per capita income was very meager. However, with the increasing focus on quality education and ensuring a corruption-free system, South Korea is widely regarded as one of the richest and the most technologically advanced countries in Asia in the modern era.

This goes to show that even ignorance and poverty can be eradicated with the power of Education. Quality education not only helps to build careers but also builds the nation, its people, and society. We all may recollect the infamous Hiroshima-Nagasaki Nuclear Attack in 1945. The huge structures vanished in a jiffy. However, the collective efforts of the people of Japan along with the persistent efforts of the  educated Youth of Japan assisted in building the same destroyed structures back to its insurmountable heights from ashes.

We have also seen countries like United Kingdom which at once were the colonizers of the world and at the pinnacle of their prowess now struggling to keep quality standards of STEM education at par with global standards. The country is facing potential issues of migration, lack of skilled and tech-savvy workforce and must depend on outsourced workforce from Asia. This speaks volumes of the fact that if resources are not ideally utilized and invested in education, the shining sun may set very soon, and it could be a period of very long darkness.

The GDP figures also inflate when the core of the nation’s ideas emphasize  bringing education to the fore. Padhega India Campaign has also garnered the attention of Indian citizens and can be categorized as a very key metric of evaluating the progress made by the government towards the upliftment of the society. Hence, we conclude that Quality Education is imperative for all of us.
